Salary and Benefits
Earn £930 per week, plus holiday pay
This is equivalent to an annual salary of £48,360.00
All meals provided whilst on duty

Qualifications
- Native / near-native competence in English (written and spoken)is mandatory
- University degree or equivalent (for Subject teachers: University degree in one of the STEM subjects such as Sociology, Philosophy or Psychology, Business or the Humanities)
- CELTA, Trinity TESOL or Accreditation UK recognized equivalent or PGCE (in English or MFL)
- Previous residential summer school experience and experience of teaching mixed nationality groups is preferred
- Must be eligible to work in the UK (EU citizens need settled/pre-settled status under the EU Settlement Scheme or be in possession of a «Frontier Worker Permit» or another work visa.
Details of Position
As an EFL teacher, you will need to have a passion for teaching as well as an imaginative and creative approach, with a focus on student-centered learning. You will be able to deliver engaging and inspiring teaching and learning using up-to-date resources.
Classes have a maximum of 10 students, with 23 hours of English lessons per week. It is the responsibility of EFL Teachers to plan well-structured, well-paced, varied, innovative, and enjoyable student-centered General English, British Culture, and project-based lessons. As well as exciting afternoon project-based lessons which integrate our native-speaking Student Hosts. It is every teacher’s duty to make sure students are studying at the correct level and undertake weekly progress checks in order to ensure students’ English is improving.
Other duties include
– Undertaking all required administration duties related to the academic program. Including writing weekly student progress reports and end-of-course reports
– Attending the end-of-week graduation ceremony to present certificates and reports to leaving students
– Attending and contributing to weekly all-staff meetings with the Course Director
– Attending and contributing to weekly CPD sessions delivered by the Director of Studies
– Undertaking other duties to assist with the day-to-day running of the summer school
